i just was getting ready the pots and pansy sees for tonights ritual. then i had an idea..i've always wanted a vegie garden but could never find where
however i found a large square plastic box. which looks like it will do nicely... i filled it with potting mix (not sure if thats a good idea or not!) then i put in some rotting tomatos..(also not sure if they'll grow..but i do know fermanting seeds gerniate better) then i added some worms from my worm farm.... and WALA!!! vegi garden...now i hope something grows!! fingers crossed

Good start, Kallyana! Do you keep a compost bin, or is that the worm bin? That is, a place where you put your vegetable trimmings to decompose. If you don't have any finished compost handy, add rotten leaves, or rotten horse manure if there are riding trails/stables around, or any other rich, dark, earth-smelling stuff you can get. Your tomatoes will love you for it!

i have a worm farm...were i put all my food scraps in and the worms eat it and i use their wee as liquid fertisler, i mix it with water and i use it on all the plants around the garden ... they love it.. and hoping the tomatos will 2... but then i added some worms to it stright away so they'll have there own source :)
