Making Time

I've decided that no matter what life throws at me, and it does throw a lot my way, I must make a concerted effort to visit and interact with O&M at least once a week. So apologises again to everyone here for my prolonged absence.

Recently I've become aware of just how disconnected from the divine and from this community I've become and I do not like it one bit.

I am going to make better use of google calendar as it has email and SMS prompts (the latter of which is indeed free). I won't go heavy handed with the planing and routine because we all know what happens to those best laid plans. In stead they will be prompts of things I might need or want to do on any given day. I am also making better use of my whiteboard which is always a great motivator as I tick each task I achieve each day on there.

I am also continuing to add my weekly herb with plans to add a monthly tree. This I feel will enhance what it is for me to be Wiccan and a pagan.

I am starting to work my way through lesson 2 and deliberately going over old ground so as to ensure I am taking on anything that may have dropped out of my brain in the time I've been away from my studies.

Also, after much contemplation I have settled on the fact I am more pagan than Wiccan. My reason being is that I incorporate ideas and beliefs that are perhaps too broadly apart from Wicca, namely I have a strong inclination towards Buddhist philosophy, and I say philosophy because that is the part I take on as I am not and never likely to be a fully practicing Buddhist. I honestly don't believe in the entirety of the religion, but do see the truth and sense in much of their philosophy and approach to living. Some of which I see a cross over to pagan living.

I would love to hear from everyone, how you've been getting on and anything I might have missed.
