Perpetual student

This year marks my final year’s study for my Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and so at the end of this year, I’ll be adding to my existing qualifications by also being a naturopath. It’s been a fairly intense period of study for me in which I condensed the first two years study into one year. The remaining years have been (and this year in particular) focused on practitioner, supervised clinic  which means providing a service to real patients, identifying their condition or illness, prescribing the appropriate treatment and following up with patient specific research and treatment modifications.

I’ll be glad to finish so I can get on with delivering a clinical service to my clients but ever the student I am, I’m already thinking about what degree or more post grad study to commence in 2013! I already have 3 degrees including a Masters and a PhD and finishing this degree will make that 4 so clearly I haven’t lost the studying bug yet! My thoughts right now are to perhaps do a Masters in Western herbal medicine or perhaps to do a paramedic degree to support my ambulance officer role or even to do an RN degree. Hmmm… decisions, decisions…
