This is a poem I wrote a lil time ago when I  was going through a bout of bad back pain. Its an on going thing, but I have found releasing my frustrations on paper have helped..Just thought Id share..

You can’t see the pain I feel.

Deep darkness settling in

You can’t see the pain I feel

On the outside Im just the same

While on the inside is crippling pain.

Suffocating darkness seeping around

Taking me down to the abyss within

You can’t see the pain I feel

Crushing me deeply, stealing my will.

Screaming, numbing pain

Life goes on for others, but for me it’s all the same

You can’t see the pain I feel

Cutting me deeply, it’s all so real.

The black crow of my darkness now begins to sing

As my body collapses deep within

I wish I was numb and couldn’t feel this pain

I give up, I’ve succumbed again

As I look out at the world, sitting down to their evening meal

I whisper softly to myself

They can’t see the pain I feel.
