This failry hefty book is the final product of over five years of PhD research by it's author Ziggy Smith (who is in fact Amethyst Treleven).

Her doctorate thesis involved observing a variety of Wiccans, Withces and Pagans and determining how they learn to become Wiccans, Witches and Pagans. Rather than learning through the traditionally taught mechanisms of cognition or behaviourism, the author clearly shows that when learning about spirituality, people learn with their instinct and intuituion. Learning comes via the soul, not just via the head.

This book, as a PhD thesis, was origonally developed for an academic audience but is presented here for the first time in Australia to the waiting market.
