Rain and more rain in the evening has kept me sad so much that I lit a black and  white candle with Dragon's Blood, White Sage, Amber and sandlewood incense in hoping to improve my mood, it did to a degree.

The grass here has been getting thicker and thicker instead of growing higher, thank goodness less mowing for me LOL

I received a mini tarot reading in the mail today ~ I got QUEEN OF SWORDS meaning indications of CLEAR THOUGHS are a factor in my life now. concerned with ideas and problems ~ which refers to woman over 16. The right choice has been made, the decision is clear cut and well though out. *~* Firstly look at the image - what does it trigger for me??? I have been clearing out my back yard and house hold extras that I have found collecting dust and cobwebs. I did a ritual a  few nights ago and I feel it was successful for me. 

Winter has come to my neck of the woods Nice and chilly ~ I have been working on the chicken coop now I only have the fence to keep them in and then they will be toasty warm all night long. Still figuring out out to move around this site and hopefully add some friends while I'm here. That's if I figured it out in time. LOL ~ Frost mornings and very chilly nights Love it. ~ Don't know what else to say Just rambling to myself and I don't know if anyone reads blogs here or not.

Well I have just joined your school and can't wait to relearn my craft, I'm divorced with child I found my path at the age of 16 not much information back then, just a lot of rubbish versions of my faith. So by instinct I found my spirtual guide, She is on my Avartar    ~      Native American  runs through my blood. I found a calendar with N A animals and as I turned the turned the pages I felt she jumped out at me and gave me a big hug  and in my mind she was saying "Ifound you, welcome home".

I'm Autumn.  I've been studying Wicca on and off for about six years, since I was in high school.  This is my first time joining a coven and undergoing formal training, however.  Before, I was a Roman Catholic, but I found that as comfortable as wearing my shoes on the wrong feet!

I hold a BA in English and theology, and I live in Wichita, KS.  Currently, I am single with no children, but I hope that will change soon!

Do people remember the wonderful global ritual we did that included the pansy seeds?

Does anyone else have trouble with some of the wording of the Wiccan Rede?  It's a really beautiful poem,

but some of the wording escapes me. "When the Lady's moon is new, kiss the hand to her times 2"  What

is that saying?  And another line "Where the rippling waters go, cast a stone the truth you'll know"  Does

that mean you can throw a stone in the stream and get wisdom from it?  I'd love to be able to read the

whole poem through and comprehend it as well.

My name is Morganawillow and I am new to this, although I joined last year. I have had a problem coming out of the broom closet. I have been a solitary Witch for over 40years and my Catholic family has never known.. my lovely and mystical secret to myself.  I am now of mature age and would like to become an active member, and make lots of new friends. It would be wonderful if there is anyone out there from southwest Victoria.  However with the power of internet travel anything is possible.

I've been keeping an online dairy of the nature happenings. My visualisation practices and dreams (if I slept more) are there too. I've been here at O&M for just over a month and I'm feeling really good about my progress. Question is, how will I know when I'm ready to take the next step? I feel confident about everything so far, even my confidence in visualisation has increased, although I never really get quite time to myself it seems.

   Lesson changed, when I was first granted access to Lesson Three, it was all there. Now in section "The Inclusive Circle" everything after the vedio is gone, which covered the 11 principles, the ritual, the correspondences, and in the section"Setting Up Your Altar",the digram for setting up the altar is missing. For some reason everything after the video in each section dissapeared. Help!

GREETINGS, I have a couple of questions so bare with me, I read and also heard from another wiccan that when a circle is cast for protection, that it actually draws negativity. That all the protection that we need comes from within us, just so long as we believe. Its said that since the wall of protection goes up it makes the negativity want to try to get at us more so. Just for the fact were trying to keep it out. I think there is some truth to that, but I also think building a circle is an important part of spell casting.

Okay, so like many using this forum I‘m guessing, I am undertaking Amethyst’s course in inclusive Wicca, and I’ve been reading the book and trying to complete the exercises. I have thought about the distinction between Wicca and witchcraft, and Paganism, and it isn’t hard to find the opinions of others on this (ie there is none, it’s all evil), but I wanted to know how others who are actually in the Wiccan tradition answered this.
