Is there some kind of setting or something that means we can be notified when there is a reply to one of or threads or when new posts are put up or messages sent to us?
I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything! hahaha

Yep, there's a tick box on every person's profile to let them get email notifications if someone private messages them through the website. I notice yours is set to receive email notifications if someone PM's you. The default is to have that ticked as yes.
Sadly, there is no option to be sent messages when someone replies to a thread you've posted in on the forums, at least not in our current version of the Durpal platform. However, in the new version which we hope to convert to with the website upgrade this year, that might become an option (fingers crossed).
