Would you like to do an online ritual?
Hi all,
as a test for doing more online rituals later both in the chat room and perhaps on Second Life, would you all like to do the Full Mopon Esbat in the chat room with me on October 23rd?
The chat room has voice over facility so you can hear me cast if you like? Or we can type it out and do it together? Once we are comfortable doing it in a month or two, people can take a quarter each and do that in the chat room with us so the esbat ritual is shared amongst us?
Only people who have done lesson 3 and onwards would be able to attend I'm afraid but would you all like me to set that up so you can attend and we can test how it works?

Personally, I think that seems like a great idea. Do you try and orchestrate it with the exact time the moon is at its fullest? Or kinda just go with what's a convenient time, etc? Without examining it in further depth, the only problems I can foresee is, as with any worldwide online occurance, the time matter.

Ok, so we'll have a full moon ritual in the chat room at 7:30pm South Australia time. I'll put this on the calendar so you can see what time that will be for you locally.
To make it easy for everyone we'll do mostly text the first time and I will lead it foer the first time (we can share the casting task on the second time and thereafter). The chat room also have voice capability for me to speak some of the casting but I'm not sure if everyone can hear that so we'll have a quick test of that.
I will give instructions for people at the time but for those people who have finished lesson 3 or are doing lesson 3 (people still on lesson 1 oe 2 cannot attend) you will need to have a candle beside your computer. You wont need anything else.
Looking forward to our first online ritual!

I don't know if I'm looking
I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place, or just not seeing it, but when I am logged in, and go to the Calendar, I don't see anything listed for October 23rd. I see other chats, and a listing for the 17th for AGM, but I don't see the online ritual listed. I would really like to attend this, if I could find out what time it would be for me here on the east coast of US.

Hi all,
well I waited in the chat room at the designated time for our online rituals and no one turned up. I waited till twenty minutes past the time we were supposed to meet and gave up I'm afraid. Perhaps online rituals in the chat room then may not be as popular as at first thought.

How unfortunate! I wanted to go to this, and even syked myself up to getting up @ 4:30 am to attend @ 5:00 am, but then I read that only those who have completed Lesson 3 and above could join. I have not yet completed Lesson 3, so I hope in the future maybe we can give this another go. I have never yet attended a ritual or circle with any other people, and would very much like to do so at some point - maybe we can try this again sometime?
